Day Hikes In The Pacific Northwest With Chris

Being one of the more common hikes to do, most of my reviews will be one the quick hikes around the area. You have to account for travel time when doing some of these hikes. I hope to able to take more time to get to further out hikes. A hotel, motel, etc may be required.
Below is a list of the Day Hikes I have completed since my time here. You can see my pictures and videos along with some thoughts about the hike. I will let you decide whether it is for you or not.
Completed Day Hikes

Eagle Creek Hike - PunchBowl Falls
The Eagle Creek Trail is located in the Columbia Gorge East of Portland, Oregon. The trail is no longer maintained, so please becareful if you go on this trail. Check out more about the Eagle Creek Trail here.

Ramona Falls Hike
Here is my review and information on the Ramona Falls Hike. There is a seasonal bridge that I don't believe they will be replacing, so be careful crossing the river. This hike is located near Mount Hood by Rhododendron, OR. Check out more about the Ramona Falls Trail here.

Bald Mountain Hike
If you are looking for a short hike to a summit, this is a hike for you. The only real view from the top is Mount Hood, but does include an old Fire Lookout building. The trail can get rough at times and steep, but doable in one day. Check out more about the Bald Mountain Trail here.

Bridal Veil Falls Hike
Another great short hike for the entire family. This short hike is located right East of Portland in Corbett, Oregon. A double waterfall is at the end for your efforts. Check out more about the Bridal Veil Falls Trail here.

Trail of the Ten Falls Hike
Down in Silverton, you will find the National Forest. Here is a moderate hike that will take you all day, if you complete the entire thing. There are 10 falls on this trail. You want to hit it after it has been raining because some falls will be dry. Check out more about the Trail of the Ten Falls here.

Wahkeena Falls Trail Hike
This is a popular moderate hike East of Portland, Oregon. If it is been raining in the Gorge, then it would be a great time to hit this trail. Plenty of falls to check out and some views. Some parts are very busy especially near the starting trailhead. Check out more about the Wahkeena Falls Trail here.
